Thanks BB&T for your support through EITC! We appreciate your generosity and your commitment to our mission.
Hasn’t snowed yet, but do you want to build a snowman? Mrs. Cunnane’s and Ms. Hollenbach’s STEM class made their own snow! White, cold, and the perfect consistency to build snowmen!
It’s all fun and games in Mrs. Benbow’s reading class! After finishing the book Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech, students created a board game based upon the book. Students then 3D printed their own game piece to use to play the game. What fun!

We celebrated our Grandparents & Special Friends today at school. It’s always such a treat to have visitors in the classrooms! We were also joined by our Reading Buddies from Rydal Park. Thank you to everyone that came to share the day. And thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make it all possible!
We honored and celebrated the service members in our families and community at our annual Veterans Day breakfast. Students read essays they’d written for the VFW Patriot’s Pen essay competition and they thanked each attending veteran with a handmade card.
In the spirit of collaboration, Philadelphia area LD private schools hosted Anne Ford at Delaware Valley Friends School. Center School was represented by Head of School Mindy Wawrzyniak, who had the pleasure of co-interviewing Anne Ford with Alex Brosowsky, Head of School at The Quaker School. Thank you Delaware Valley Friends for this opportunity!
We’ve got Makerspace fever at Center School! Check out this time lapse video of students and teachers building the partition for the Makerspace room. Can’t wait to see the room when it’s all set up!
