Passing of Center School's Co-Founder

We are saddened to announce the passing of Center School’s Co-Founder, Kathy Hunt, who passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Kathy was a pioneer in raising awareness about students with learning disabilities. She had a vision to build a community that supported these students and their needs. As a result, Center School opened its doors in 1989. For over 35 years, Kathy's vision, and the creation of Center School, have positively impacted the success of thousands of students and their families.

Kathy received numerous awards for her contributions to the LD community, including the Visionary Service Award from the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools and the Janet L. Hoops Award from The Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association
