Discovery. Acceptance. Power. - Turning Struggles Into Assets - April 30, 2025

Everybody struggles.

But some struggles are life-long, and for some, those struggles aren’t always obvious. Sometimes, they’re invisible.

Benjamin JohnsonFor Ben, that struggle has come in the form of Neurodiversity; Learning Disabilities. Traditional structures like work and school have always been hard, and in his younger years, he often longed to have someone else’s brain. But over the last 3 decades, Ben eventually came to terms with his condition, learned to value it, respect it, and step into it.

It turned out that much of what he felt insecure about was also what made him the best part of himself. His greatest struggle was also his greatest asset.

Featured on FOX, PBS, and CBS and seen at festivals such as Vans Warped Tour and Bonnaroo, Ben now uses his craft as a tool for community building. He helps students and leaders better understand their emotions, learning, and invisible challenges and how they can truly step into their fullest potential.
