Derri Benbow

It is great to meet you! My name is Derri Benbow, and I teach Middle School Reading, Writing, and Wilson. 
 
I wanted to share a little about myself. I graduated from Barrington College with a Bachelor of Arts in English Secondary Education.  I have a Master’s in Education in Reading from Arcadia University.   I am also certified in Orton-Gillingham and Wilson. 
 
I have been teaching for 45+ years, and one of my favorite things about teaching is when students realize they can do something they couldn’t do previously.  
 
Outside of school, I enjoy being with my family, reading, going to the beach, and listening to the Phillies baseball games.
