Debbie Kowalchuk
It is great to meet you! My name is Debbie Kowalchuk, and I teach Lower School and Middle School art.
I wanted to share a little about myself. I graduated from Temple University, Tyler School of Art, with a BA in Arts Education. I am also certified in Orton-Gillingham and Wilson Fundations reading programs.
I have been teaching for 28 years, and one of my favorite things about teaching is watching students discover their talents in making art.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. Painting and making pottery are my favorite modes of artistic expression. I also enjoy watching Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies, Eagles, and 76ers.
