Laura Evak
Hi, My name is Laura Evak. I am a speech & language pathologist who works for Communiverse ® Therapy Solutions and as a contracted employee at Center School.
I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Communication Disorders in May 2000 and earned an M.A. from Temple University in May 2002 in Communication Sciences. During my career, I have worked with people across their lifespans in many settings, including private practice, hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, early intervention, and schools. I was honored to work with graduate students as a clinical educator at Salus University from 2019 to 2021.
I am licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and Virginia and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. I pride myself on providing high-quality therapy to all of my clients and their families. I have a special interest in social communication and executive functions. I had the pleasure of presenting at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Institute’s Center for Autism Research’s Transition Into Adulthood Workshops. I supported local groups on topics including social communication and executive functioning.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and husband. During the spring and summer months, I travel a lot with my children for their lacrosse tournaments up and down the East Coast.
