Lela Betts
Hi, it's so nice to meet you! I'm Lela Betts, a Wilson teacher here at Center School.
I wanted to share a little bit about myself. I have a B.A. in history from Haverford College. Then, I became a teacher and got an M.S. in Multicultural Education from Eastern University. I'm a certified teacher in Pennsylvania in grades K-6 and Spanish, and I'm certified in Wilson and Orton Gillingham.
I love teaching students to read. I've taught at Center School for seven years and tutored in Wilson for 26 years. I'm so proud of all of the students I've taught!
When I'm not teaching, I love to sing, garden, and travel. My happy place is the beach.
