DeAndre Johnson
Hello, my name is De’Andre Johnson. I joined Center School in 2024, and I am an instructional aide, primarily in the Middle School.
I wanted to share a little about myself. I graduated from the Community College Of Philadelphia with an associate's degree in Psychology. After graduating, I assisted and helped co-teach at Y.A.L.E., which was a part of the Philadelphia School District. I have lots of experience working with students with many different diagnoses. One of my favorite things about my role is being a positive role model for students and creating opportunities for them to grow academically and socially with their peers.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to read, travel, listen to music, and spend time with my friends. I love sports, I’m a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, go Steelers!! I am also currently enrolled in school to become a Special Ed certified Middle School Teacher, and I’m excited to continue my career in helping students reach their academic and social goals.
