Starting a new school year for any child can be a daunting task, but for children who learn differently, it can feel completely overwhelming. From day one, we focus on teaching self-advocacy and demystification to help students understand their learning styles.
A student with learning differences needs frequent breaks and additional time to complete assignments. Schoolwork needs to be broken down into manageable pieces, some students require the use of visual aids, and strategies need to be learned. This is all part of the day-to-day teachings at Center School.
We welcome any professionals, parents, students, and community members to visit our campus and experience the culture of Center School.
