Mrs. Duntzee’s sixth grade science students incorporated what they learned about earthquake resistant architecture and collaborated with their peers in order to construct their own structures from marshmallows and toothpicks. These structures were then put to the test when they were hit with a simulated (Jell-O) earthquake.
