Emphasis is placed on understanding each child’s potential and in determining his or her learning needs so that a personalized education plan can be developed. No single approach or technique is used exclusively. Each teacher utilizes as many approaches as necessary to develop the potential of each child. Most reading teachers are certified reading specialists who continue to be trained in all of the new proven research and evidence based programs. Curriculum can be adjusted to be taught at an appropriate pace for a student’s individual level of learning. Class sizes are small in order to deliver more individualized and personalized instruction.
